How it works

From step to wallet, end to end

Run2Earn rests on one principle: only movement we can measure and verify gets rewarded.

  1. 01Connect your wallet

Press Connect Wallet. The site issues a one-time code and your wallet signs a plain-text message containing it. That proves you control the address without spending anything, and the address becomes your account.

  2. 02Allow location

Open the tracker and press Start Run. Your browser asks for location permission at that moment, not before. We read GPS only while a run is active.

  3. 03Your device streams position

Readings are buffered on your device and posted to our servers every 15 seconds. If the connection drops they are held locally and sent when it returns, so nothing is lost.

  4. 04The server verifies every segment

Each pair of consecutive readings is checked. Anything above 23 km/h is a vehicle, any jump over 400 metres is a teleport, any gap over 90 seconds breaks the chain, and any reading with accuracy worse than 50 metres is unreliable. Movement under 0.4 m/s is drift. All of it is discarded rather than paid.

  5. 05Points are credited

What survives becomes steps at one step per 0.75 metres, then 100 steps become 1 point, capped at 30,000 steps a day, with your tier multiplier applied. Your balance updates while you move.

  6. 06Claim to your wallet

At 1,000 points the claim button opens. The treasury sends one transaction on Robinhood Chain to your address, and the dashboard records the hash with a link to the public explorer. A failed transaction refunds your points automatically.

A worked example

Someone covering about 7.5 km a day, roughly 10,000 steps, once they reach the Runner tier at 1.1×:

Per day
110 points
Per month
3,300 points
Per year
40,150 points

What we never do

  • Ask for your seed phrase, private key or any password.
  • Request a transaction that moves assets out of your wallet. Payouts only ever go in.
  • Read your location when the tracker is not running.
  • Store a map of your route. Only the verified distance total is kept.
  • Let the browser set a balance. Every point is calculated on the server.
